Damage Protection

Optional insurance for your rentals to cover accidental minor damage (such as a broken zip or a small spill) so you can rent completely stress free!

This does not cover loss, theft or major damage. 

What’s covered?

If you choose to purchase Damage Protection (Recommended!) when renting an item - we will cover any minor repairable damage (such as stain removal, a broken zip, missing button), to a maximum cost of £40 per rented item to give you peace of mind when renting.

If you have rented items in your care that have been damaged in any way, please contact us and do not initiate any type of repair.

What’s not covered?

We understand that minor damage of clothing can sometimes happen, however there are other events that we don’t offer cover for. These events are:

- Late returns

- Irreparable or excessive damage including stains that can't be removed

- Loss of item due to carelessness, theft or other

- Damage in excess of £40 repair fee

In the event of irreparable damage and/or loss of the item, the renter would be liable to cover the fair market value of the item, at the discretion of the Rites team. For more information, please click here.
